After a very short night of sleep, our wake up call came in (and, as much as I love Cinderella, "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" does not motivate me to get out of bed!). We had a very busy schedule, and more plans than humanly possible to fit into 2 days, but we were going to try!
On deck for the day was a morning in Epcot's Future World, then a break before we spent the evening at Magic Kingdom. MK was opened until 11:00, so we knew we would be in for a long day!
We got to the bus stop and over to Epcot before the park opened. We made a bee line for Test Track since we didn't have a FastPass for it, and only had about a 15-20 minute wait before we boarded our car! It was such a great start to our day. After that, the older kids were off to Mission:Space while Rob and I took Flynn over to the amazing play area they have at the end of the ride.
We went to Innovations Club Cool after to sample Coca Cola products from around the world and were the first ones in when they opened the doors! The cast members were all lined up with samples of frozen Coke samples for the first people through the doors, and once they ran out, that was it! Unfortunately, I missed getting a picture of this....I had no idea they even did this when Club Cool opened! After getting our fill of soda (skipping the Beverly) we made our way to the Seas Pavilion for Nemo and Friends and Turtle Talk with Crush. Then it was over to the Land Pavilion for lunch at Sunshine Seasons and Soarin'!
At this point, I reminded Rob we really needed to take a break! We still had a whole evening ahead of us at Magic Kingdom. Guess what we didn't do! In all fairness, the rationale made sense...by the time we got a bus back to Port Orleans and took a short break, it would be time to go back to catch a bus to Magic Kingdom, whereas we could just take the monorail from Epcot to TTC, and make the switch over to the MK monorail...so...we took a little break at the DVC Members lounge before meeting Mickey and Goofy.
After that, it was off to Magic Kingdom. I am so happy we had such a productive first half of the day, because our evening was anything but!
